First Reformed Church of Scotia will hold its 9th COOKIE WALK on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 from 11:00am-2:00pm (or until sold out).
All proceeds go to benefit children and families in need of food assistance in the Scotia-Glenville School District.
In addition to members and friends of the First Reformed Church of Scotia, helpers and bakers also include: the school district’s teachers and staff, members and friends of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, and culinary students at SCCC.
What is a Cookie Walk?
Do you love homemade Christmas cookies, but don’t have the time to bake? Well, a cookie walk is the place for you!
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: First, you select an empty box based on how many cookies you are planning to take home. You are then paired with a “Cookie Elf” to help place your selections in your box. With your box and your elf, you will then walk through rows of tables stacked with a wide variety of beautiful holiday cookies handcrafted by our bakers. You will tell your elf how many of each type you want and they will fill your box with as many goodies as it can hold.
Please remember a few things: As tempting as it is, please, no sampling. And second, we keep a separate section of cookies without nuts, so our friends with allergies are kept safe. We recommend you walk around the display FIRST to make sure you see all the potential cookie options. We have heard many times – “oh no – I’m only halfway through and my box is nearly full!” Don’t worry! We will always be glad to get you another box.
Once your selection is complete, we weigh your box. Simply pay the cashier and you are off to your next holiday party! Your box is now ready for giving or keeping.
We never quite know what varieties of cookies will be available: that depends on the mood of our bakers. But all of your favorites are likely to be there.
